International Museum Day - May 18th 2012

May 18th is International Museum Day and many museums around the world are participating by offering FREE admission.  Here are a few that are celebrating International Museum Day in some way:

  • The Philadelphia Museum of Art will offer free admission all day on Friday, May 18, in celebration of International Museum Day.
  • Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas
  • General Lew Wallace Study & Museum, Crawfordsville, Indiana
  • Harvard Art Museums, Cambridge
  • Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County at the Hjemkomst Center museum, Moorhead, Minnesota
  • Oshkosh Public Museum, Oshkosh, Wisconsin
  • Fort Smith Regional Art Museum, AR
  • Speed Art Museum, Louisville
  • Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas
  • San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco
