Free Country: From Ski to Swim

As spring gently rolled in, I was dreaming of warmer weather. I can't believe that there was snow on the ground during Spring Break! Still, there was one thing that has stopped me from being totally disappointed on these chilly April days. It was my new coat from Free Country.

I've had the same black winter coat for years. I bought it so long ago, I can't even tell you if it was b.c. (before children) or a.c. (after children.)  It was time for a new coat!  I wanted something totally different, something not black, something with one of those furry edged hoods.  I found exactly what I wanted on the Free Country website.

The coat I got was the Zephyr Power Down Jacket.  Some of the things I really like about this coat are:

  • The interior cell phone, mp3 and basket pockets are nice to have.  The don't add any extra bulk to the coat, and make the coat much more functional.
  • It's filled with down which helps to keep me nice and cozy.
  • Sometimes, it can be hard to gauge how light or dark a color is when you're shopping online, but I really like the shade of this "fossil" colored coat.
  • Also, as much as I love the faux fur lined hood, I really like the fact that it's detachable for when I don't need it or want to change the style of the coat.

So, a few more chilly days are perfectly okay with me, because it means I get to enjoy my new coat just a little but longer. But, I  know many of you are already in swim mode, so I want to share some of Free Country's swim line too.

Whether you're still having frost warnings like we are here in the Philly suburbs, or you were outside swimming today, Free Country has got you covered.  Head on over to their website and check out their line of Men's, Women's & Children's outerwear. http://www.freecountry.com/
