Win Baby Unplugged Books!

I love technology. Yet, when it comes to babies, toddlers and kids, I'm a bit reluctant to let them love it too.  Sure, my kids watch t.v. and play video games at times, but, I also believe kids need to be kids. They need to explore, run outside, go on adventures and play. That's why I really loved the concept of the Baby Unplugged book series.

The promoters of Baby Unplugged sent me 3 story books to review. My nephew is a great age for these books, so I gave them to my sister and him to check out.  We all loved the colorful illustrations and the back-to-basics approach.

These books are written by pediatrician and father of three, Dr. John S. Hutton. They aim to be a celebration of "old-school" experiences and icons of childhood, which I love!

My nephew was definitely attracted to the images in the books. The short rhyming stories were fun to read and we really like the way the author transformed simple topics like books, balls, and boxes into a creative play theme. I also give Blue Manatee Boxes a big thumbs up for using eco-friendly packaging and sending along a crayon and sponge to help inspire play with the box that the books were delivered in.
